Madmind Studio has revealed the final PC requirements for its long-awaited horror and survival game called Agony. This video game uses the advanced graphics engine Unreal Engine 4, and despite this, it seems that the requirements to enjoy it on PC are not going to be too high.

Agony Minimum and Recommended Requirements Revealed

According to Agony's final specs, gamers will need at least an Intel Core i3 or AMD Phenom II X4 955 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon R9 280 to be able to enjoy it in low quality and at 30fps. But let's see what those requirements are in detail.

Minimum Requirements (Settings under @ 30 fps)

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 @ 3.20GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 955 4-core @ 3.2 GHz or faster Memory: 8GB Storage: 17GB Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB or Radeon R9 280 with DirectX 11SO: Windows 7/8/10 64 bit

Recommended: (Settings at Ultra, 60fps)

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or higher Memory: 16GB Storage: 17GB Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 580SO: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit

As we can see, it seems that Agony is going to be a fairly scalable game, allowing a wide range of computers to cope with the game with different graphic configurations. The fact that we can play at the highest quality and 60 fps with a mid-range card like the GTX 1060, is a clear sign of 'optimization'. At the moment of truth, we will see how it behaves.

Agony will be released on PC next March 30 and will be available in the Steam store, it will also be playable on XBOX One and Playstation 4.
