Crytek has announced that its heavy-duty PvE first-person PvP bounty hunting game, Hunt Showdown, is now available in Early Access. Additionally, the team revealed the game's official PC requirements.
Hunt Showdown is the new Crytek game
Hunt: Showdown is an Early Access title from the creators of Crysis who are now venturing into an online video game created with all the benefits of the next-generation CryEngine engine. In addition to offering heart-stopping graphics, it also requires a 'powerful' PC to function properly. Let's see what those requirements are to be able to enjoy it on our computer.
Minimum requirements
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5 6400 or Ryzen 3 1200 Memory: 8GB RAM Memory card: GTX 660 TI or Radeon R7 370 Storage: 20GB free space
Recommended requirements
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5 6500 or Ryzen 5 1400 Memory: 12GB RAM Memory card: GTX 970 or Radeon R9 390X Storage: 20GB free space
Maybe we have to correct the term 'powerful' since the requirements are not too high if we stick to current standards, and with a mid-range GTX 1060 we will be able to enjoy this game to the fullest, we imagine, in a standard 1080p resolution. The game is asking for a GTX 970 or an 'old' R9 390X. We don't quite understand why Crytek selected this card and not AMD's new RX models to reveal the requirements.
Hunt Showdown will be a long season in Early Access before the official release of the final version 1.0 takes place, so we will have constant updates until that happens.
