As we have mentioned in other news, Adata XPG is investing effort and money in updating its peripheral gaming line. In this short article we are going to show you the benefits of the two giant mats they have presented, the XPG Battleground XL and Prime.
It is no secret. The mats are something that can hardly improve. Its mission is simple and its construction is cheap and simple. It is for this reason that the differences between models are based on small divergences caused by manufacturers. Some offer more size, others more colors…
In the end, everything ends in a matter of taste and here we are going to present the two extra large models that Adata XPG presented at Computex 2019.
Classic Version: XPG Battleground XL
XPG Battleground XL mat
In this photo we can see the XPG Battleground XL mat . It doesn't have much chemistry. It is a large surface mouse and keyboard mat to be able to play without having to worry about both peripherals being trampled on.
It measures approximately 90x40cm and, as is common, it is made of a resistant fabric, but soft to the touch. It is embroidered to avoid damage and is resistant to scratches, splashes and other unforeseen events from day to day.

Although we do not recommend putting it to exhaustive tests. It is not made of adamantium , it is simply resistant to exceptional cases.
The mat is fully moldable and if you ever suffer from a severe stain or wear is strong, we can put it in the washing machine.
Current Version: XPG Battleground Prime
XPG Battleground Prime Mat
On the other side of the spectrum we have the XPG Battleground Prime, a mat somewhat more adapted to current times. As we see, it does not have the same black and white design of the Battleground XL. This piece only contains the brand name and part of the logo on the left side.
On the other hand, it has a thin LED strip around the edge of the device, which is connected at the left corner by a control. We can control the energy that reaches the device with the small button on the receiver.
XPG Battleground Prime Control
In case you were wondering: no, we do not recommend putting this mat in the washing machine if you do not want to result in a normal mat and, perhaps, a broken appliance.
If you like LED lighting or want to create an RGB set in your room, this is a highly recommended option. We do not have confirmed prices, but it is likely that the price will be between € 30 and € 60, respectively.
