Some surface books have battery problems

This year Microsoft was not launching a new generation of the Surface Book. So far there have been two models of this signature laptop, which are presenting certain problems now, as it has been known. At least the first generation ones, as users are experiencing battery issues. Swollen battery cases have been reported.

It is not known how many cases there are so far, but it does not appear to be a small problem. At the moment there is no solution, and Microsoft's response does not appeal to many.

Many users have already complained in various forums on the net. There are also some who are considering taking legal action against the company, so a class action lawsuit wouldn't be a surprise.

The company has recommended that they visit the stores, where they are charged this amount, to repair the battery. Although the reality is that if less than three years have passed since the users bought it, the company is obliged to carry out such repair and replacement free of charge.

It remains to be seen if Microsoft ends up giving in and repairing the swollen batteries of these Surface Books for free or not. Since it is something that users want, and in many cases they seem to have the right. So it would be quite irresponsible if the firm does not.
