Alienware appears ready to make its own PC components

According to an interview with PCGamesN , Alienware seems to intend to go into manufacturing PC components, at least according to the company's CEO, Frank Azor.

In a statement to PCGamesN , Azor stated that he did not want to engage Alienware in that market unless the company can develop a 'multi-year' plan that ensures the company can offer players products that can be considered the best in the segment, or at least equal to the leaders of the current components. Azor does not want to reissue the work of other companies; Alienware believes it must strive to meet the needs of its customers and outperform its rivals.

Entering the PC components market would not be an easy task for this company, especially if they plan to venture into the graphics card or motherboard markets. As a brand, Alienware would need access to a wealth of new insights, especially when it comes to developing overclocking-ready BIOSes and offering other advanced features. Is Alienware ready to offer custom graphics cards superior to any other manufacturer like ASUS, Gigabyte or MSI?

Perhaps the easiest area to enter the PC component market is chassis, an area where the company already has a lot of experience with exclusive quality models.
