In the source it is mentioned that the Athlon 300GE would obtain a clock frequency of 3.4 GHz, while the Athlon 320GE will operate at 3.5 GHz. The clocks would be very close to those of the 200GE series, of which we made a review by here. The underlying microarchitecture used for the 300GE and 320GE is assumed to be Zen + and not Zen 2. The big difference here from the previous generation would be a Vega 9 iGPU, but that last part is a rumor.

The aforementioned Raven Ridge desktop APUs use Vega 3 as an integrated GPU, and AMD may update the graphics solution. The same source also speculates that the Red Team might even allow Boost watches for these affordable next-generation Athlon APUs, which would please overclockers on a tight budget. The latter information is not confirmed.

Meanwhile, Ryzen 3000 (Zen 2 based) could be officially announced later this month at Computex, alongside new low-cost APU processors. We will keep you informed.
