Amd Carrizo could arrive in December

Anonim

According to a rumor from Digitimes, the AMD Carrizo-L APUs could reach the cheapest laptops in December of this year, while in 2015 more powerful chips would arrive.

The Carrizo-L APUs would arrive in December to replace the current Mullins and Beema in low-cost equipment while the more powerful Carrizo versions would arrive to replace the current Kaveri chips in March 2015. These latter chips should compete with Intel's core i7, i5 and i3 while Carrizo-L would compete against the Pepentium and Celeron.

Recall that Carrizo will consist of new generation GCN graphics and x86 cores with Excavator microarchitecture.
