Today new Ryzen processors have been known for desktops, laptops and for its Threadripper platform; Ryzen 3 2100, 2300X and 2500X. For laptops we will have the Ryzen 2000U, 2600U and 2800U, while for Threadripper we will be receiving the 2900X, 2920X, 2950X models.

These core Ryzen 3 processors were not part of the April release. These CPUs are quad-core chips designed for modest computers. The AMD product portfolio update confirms the 2100, 2300X, and 2500X. Of course, the 2200 and 2400 are skipped because they are already present in the lineup.
The interesting part here is that the Ryzen 5 2500X will probably be the only Ryzen 5 quad core chip for gamers.

AMD is working on new products for the portable market, including Ryzen 7 2800U. If AMD is so determined to bring the x800 series to the notebook market, then it would be easy to anticipate that the Ryzen 7 2800 will also come out for desktops.
