Yes, we know, AMD is dealing with much of the day-to-day news, but it is what happens when the ads are so followed. The information we receive today reveals the future of the company and the nature of upcoming server processors. AMD EPYC Genoa will succeed EPYC Milan and plans to renew a large number of technologies and specifications.

AMD EPYC Genoa , the future CPUs for servers

Recently, at the HPC-AI Advisory Council UK conference , AMD has shared quite a bit of information about their upcoming products. We have seen a review of its roadmap since 2018, although what stands out above the rest is its line of server processors.

Among these announcements we have enjoyed stronger data about AMD EPYC Genoa and Milan , even though they are not yet in the manufacturing process. While the 'Zen 3' Milan generation will arrive in mid / late 2020, the 'Zen 4' Genoa CPU generation will not arrive until 2021.

With the arrival of Rome , AMD is changing the server landscape, so we expect something similar to happen as future generations arrive. Currently, much of the data we see is speculation and projects, so in the coming months we will be able to confirm or deny these claims.
