Nvidia has been sitting quietly alone in the high-end graphics card market. Although AMD has already released its Navi-based graphics cards (AMD Radeon RX 5700 and 5700 XT), the chipmaker still has no answer for Nvidia's high-end offerings, which are the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti. Apparently, Navi 22 and Navi 23 would be the high-end GPUs that AMD is preparing to battle against those Nvidia options.

The current buzz within hardware circles is that Navi 21, 22, and 23 will be used for AMD's second generation RDNA (Radeon DNA) and as a result they are also likely to be based on an improved process node of 7 nm +. However, there is no solid evidence to support this.

We can't talk about specs about Navi 23, considering we don't even know which graphics card will take advantage of it. However, we suspect that the Navi 22 could power the RX 5900, as the Navi 21 is rumored to be used for the RX 5800.
The latest roadmap for AMD graphics cards shows this in the design phase for next-generation RDNA 2.0 architecture. It is safe to assume that the corresponding products will not land until 2020, which is the same year that Nvidia is expected to roll out its Ampere graphics cards, which will also come out of the 7nm furnace.
