The Geekbench database has revealed the existence of two new Ryzen CPUs that will arrive to fill the remaining gaps in the second generation Ryzen product line, these are the AMD Ryzen 2300X and 2500X.

These AMD Ryzen 2300X and 2500X are listed as “AuthenticAMD Family 23 Model 8 Stepping 2” products, the same familiar name as the other second generation models, confirming that these are second generation Ryzen processors manufactured at 12nm. Further confirmation mentions that both CPUs have 8MB of L3 cache, 4MB more than AMD's low-end Raven Ridge silicon.

If the specs displayed by Geekbench are correct, the new Ryzen 3 2300X and Ryzen 5 2500X offer 300MHz higher turbo clock speeds than their predecessors, while maintaining the same base speeds. AMD's Precision Boost 2.0 technology should allow users to see higher clock speeds across all multithreaded workloads.
