Amd polaris brings you closer to virtual reality
Table of contents:
AMD's Ray Taylor has confirmed that the company's new Polaris GPUs will bring long-awaited virtual reality closer to users on tight budgets who can't afford a high-end card.
Virtual reality will be more affordable with AMD Polaris
Currently the minimum requirements for virtual reality go through the GeForce GTX 970 and Radeon R9 290 graphics cards, two of the most popular cards on the market, but they are not without a price much higher than what many users can pay.
AMD has confirmed that it is working to bring virtual reality closer to the mainstream sector with the arrival of Polaris. Very competitive prices are expected for the Radeon R9 480 and GeForce GTX 1070 which should meet the minimum requirements for VR at affordable prices, especially in the case of AMD which traditionally offers a better balance between price and performance.
