Finally AMD will launch a graphics card equipped with a fully unlocked Tonga GPU, although it will do so under the name Antigua XT, just as Tonga Pro has become Antigua Pro in the Radeon R9 380.
The new Radeon R9 380X is made up of a total of 2, 048 Shader Processors, 128 TMUs and 32 ROPs, at a frequency of between 1000 and 1100 MHz, coupled with 4GB of GDDR5 video memory with a 256-bit interface. The first models to leak are the Gigabyte, Asus and XFX models.

The Asus Radeon R9 380X is the STRIX-R9380X-OC4G-GAMING, it will arrive with a DirectCU II heatsink with its STRIX variant that offers semi- passive operation. The card will include factory overclocking.

From the XFX Radeon R9 380X we can see that it is based on a heatsink with four copper heatpipes and the same dual fan configuration as the Asus solution.
Gigabyte R9 380X G1 GAMING
