The next AMD Raven Ridge APUs will come with a maximum of four physical Ryzen cores, with this they will have the capacity to handle up to 8 threads of data, so they should be a very important step forward compared to the current Bristol Ridge.

Raven Ridge Features

The new APUs will arrive in the second half of 2017 with its four AMD Ryzen cores with SMT technology and a powerful Radeon GPU. The technology that will be used in its graphics is unknown, but it is most likely Polaris and even the most advanced and efficient Vega. Previous rumors suggest that the Raven Ridge iGPU will approximate the performance of the Radeon RX 460.

Let's remember that Raven Ridge will work on the AM4 platform and will arrive in several versions with TDPs between 35W and 95W. This new generation of APUs will provide a tremendous step forward against Kaveri, Godavari, and even Bristol Ridge, all based on Steamroller and Excavator.
