Igor'sLab has created a tool that allows the user to overclock their AMD RX 5500 XT and RX 5700 XT cards up to 2.1 GHz over the air. The creator of this tool called MPT says that it has tested the tool up to 2.2 GHz and almost all cards should be able to reach 2 GHz + figures using MPT.

AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT can achieve 2.1GHz OC in the air using MPT (Tool)

MorePowerTool is a tool that enables owners of a Radeon RX 5500 XT to get even more performance out of their GPUs. Remember that the RX 5500XT can reach speeds of 1875 MHz, even 1900, but it is not possible to go further with the traditional method and the functions offered by Adrenalin controllers.

With MPT, however, we can get past the 2 GHz speed and reach 2.1 GHz on most cards. In some cases, depending on the GPU matrix, it will be possible to go up to 2.2 GHz without making changes to the air cooling system.

This is between 100 and 200 MHz above what can be obtained with AMD Wattman, which should give us an extra performance that does not hurt us at all.

The AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT has 1408 SP, which means that there are 22 CUs or calculation units on the card. It also includes 88 TMUs and 32 ROPs with clock speeds rated at 1670 MHz base, 1717 MHz gaming, and 1845 MHz boost clock. The card manages to deliver up to 5.19 TFLOPs of computing performance at 110W. The card comes in 8GB and 4GB GDDR6 memory options. The memory on the card runs through a 128-bit bus interface and offers a bandwidth of 224 GB / s.
