AMD is rumored to be working on a new RDNA graphics card that will bridge the gap between the Radeon RX 5500 and the Radeon RX 5700, offering competitive performance with Nvidia's GTX 1660 Super and GTX 1660 Ti. We are talking about the RX 5600 XT.

AMD RX 5600 XT is listed in the EEC by Gigabyte

This rumored Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card is being worked on by Gigabyte, which develops its own custom models. These models include variants of the Gaming series, OC series, Windforce series, and Eagle series. These custom models were seen by a Twitter user named Komachi in an EEC listing.

Eagle series graphics cards have also been seen in Nvidia Turing's GTX and RTX series and AMD's Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5500 series GPUs, so it should come as no surprise that they're mentioned.

The Radeon RX 5600 XT will likely use a 192-bit memory bus, bridging the gap between the RX 5500 XT and RX 5700. This gives AMD a competitive GPU offering within its price section. This GPU will be released in January 2020.

At the moment, it is unknown if AMD has plans to launch a Radeon RX 5800 or RX 5900 series graphics card in 2020. Such a graphics card could compete favorably with Nvidia's RTX 2080 Super and RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards, especially if their price is correct.

AMD's RDNA 2 architecture should add support for hardware-accelerated Ray Tracing pro and variable speed shading (VRS), making it possible for AMD to never launch RDNA (1st generation) graphics cards on top of the RX 5700 XT. AMD has not commented on when the RDNA 2 graphics cards will be released. We will keep you informed.
