Amd ryzen 5 3600, leaks on its benchmarks

Only three weeks remain for the official launch of Ryzen 3000 and the benchmarks of the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 have been leaked .

Users are eager to try the new Ryzen with their own hands and all released information is carefully crumbled and analyzed. From the VideoCardz portal , we have obtained some data from the Ryzen 5 3600 in Cinebench R15 / R20, along with screenshots of CPU-Z.

Ryzen Powers

The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 will be the cheapest Zen 2 processor in the Ryzen 3000 lineup and will mount the impressive figure of 6 cores and 12 threads. On the other hand, the cores will work at a standard frequency of 3.6 GHz expandable up to 4.2 GHz in boost and will cost a price of approximately € 200. It should be noted that according to the company's own benchmarks, it achieves higher scores than the Ryzen 7 2700X in single-core, which is worth around € 80 more .

Being the "weakest" processor of Ryzen 3000, we find it very interesting to know its benchmarks , since they will give us information on the basis of this generation of AMD .

Next, we will see a couple of images showing the characteristics and results obtained by the CPU-Z application . For the tests, the processor was accompanied with a 3200 MHz DDR4 memory.

In the first image we see some of the most basic data that we already knew about the processor. As you see, the equipment was tested with a voltage of 1, 334V and here we see it in its boost frequency.

In the second section, we can see a benchmark comparing it directly with the Ryzen 7 2700X, its older brother with 8 cores and 16 threads. The results are quite positive, as the new AMD member achieves better single-core results. However, unsurprisingly, the performance of the Ryzen 7 2700X is superior in multi-core.

On the other hand, now we will see the results in Cinebench R15 and R20. These tests were not passed with the single-core version, so this data is only multi-core data.

In Cinebench R15, the Ryzen 5 3600 scored 1, 443 points , enough to out- perform the Intel i7-8700k, Intel i7-7800k, and AMD Ryzen 5 2600X. On the other hand, it is within a span of reaching the Intel i7-9700k , which boasts a figure of 1451 points.

In this second test, the Ryzen processor scores 3229 , quite a few points above some Intel i7 from past generations. Also, we see that it has a very even result to the Ryzen 7 1700X, which mounts 8 cores . The leap in efficiency to achieve the same power with two fewer cores is impressive.

However, these images still leave us wanting to know more. How will it behave with different DRAM configurations? Will it work for video games or will it be too skinny for charging?
