If a few years ago selecting a motherboard was a matter of taste and you could buy one at a good price, the change of generation will change this paradigm for some time. If we want to take advantage of all the blessings of PCIe Gen 4, the entry price for the cheapest board seems to be very high.
So I lose Ryzen 3000 ?
Fear not, you will be able to enjoy your new Ryzen 3000 processor without having to sacrifice an organ to your favorite pagan god. The only problem you will suffer is that you will not have PCIe Gen 4 , although if any device you have can take advantage of it, it is not a great loss.
