In-game Ryzen 7 2700X vs. Core i7 8700K benchmarks put the Core i7 8700K slightly above the Ryzen 7 2700X, though the difference is quite small, showing that AMD's Zen + architecture is very close to matching performance per cycle Clock from Intel's Coffee Lake Architecture.
