Amd ryzen under ln2, so is your overclocking tool

We have a new leak of the AMD Ryzen processors, this time from the hands of the HWBattle guys who have taken a sample of these expected chips and have not been slow to get to work. These new processors are expected by the end of February or at the most on March 2, so there is very little to see them in action.

AMD Ryzen bets hard on overclocking

The AMD Ryzen processor has been tested on a Biostar Racing X370 GT7 motherboard, a model that is not of the highest range of the new generation AM4. An image shows the Windows boot and if we look closely we see that the processor has been working under liquid nitrogen (LN2), the favorite toy of the most enthusiastic overclockers. We can also see that the processor has operated at a temperature of -29ºC. Unfortunately no mention is made of the frequencies reached or the performance offered by the processor in question.

If we have a second image that shows what appears to be an overclock tool created for Ryzen, it shows that the system is using a Ryzen chip consisting of 8 cores and 16 processing threads. It can be seen that the new tool created by AMD allows a very fine adjustment of the overclock by offering the possibility of adjusting each of the cores.

All AMD Ryzen processors come with the multiplier unlocked for overclocking, so AMD is going to bet strongly on this measure and will make it as easy as possible for users, something totally different from Intel's strategy and that can be a great trick in favor of Sunnyvale's.
