Amd Vega would arrive in October

Not long ago we learned that AMD Vega had reached a new milestone in its development process, which means that its arrival on the market is getting closer. Chris Hook, AMD's chief marketing officer, has teased the Vega launch with a rather bizarre photo.

AMD Vega will be the new graphic architecture of the company that will arrive to face the best Pascal-based Nvidia chips like the GP104 and GP102, Vega will also face each other with an Nvidia Volta that will arrive in late 2017 and will later be replaced by Navi. The arrival of Vega was not expected until next year but AMD would have advanced its new architecture so as not to give more ground to an intractable Nvidia in the high-end market.

Nvidia has not stopped introducing new high-end products based on Pascal, its latest addition the GeForce GTX Titan X, so AMD would have advanced the launch of Vega, at least on paper to give information and stop the rush of buyers more impatient. Nvidia has done something similar with its GP100 chip and the new Tesla cards based on it, despite having been announced, it is impossible to get one of them today.

AMD Vega will arrive with improved energy efficiency while relying on advanced HBM2 memory to offer outstanding performance, especially at very high gaming resolutions, which is where you can fully exploit the enormous bandwidth provided by this memory technology..
