AMD began direct selling of processors and graphics cards on its website, much like NVIDIA does with Founders Edition graphics cards. These cover the Ryzen 9 3900X processor and reference Radeon RX 5700 graphics cards.

Ryzen 9 3900X and RX 5700 are available at AMD.com

This is a rare move, but AMD is already starting to sell its products directly to the consumer with no stores in between. So, if you are thinking of buying a Ryzen 9 3900X and there is no availability in stores, you can check if AMD has stock of it. However, as of this writing, this processor is out of stock at AMD.

Obviously, as for graphics cards, the products are reference models and all are available in North America, Western Europe, Asia-Pacific, China and Latin America. Custom models will take at least until August. These will not be sold on AMD.com, but will depend on the manufacturers, AMD only sells the reference graphics cards.

Currently the graphics cards are in stock and the RX 5700 model is costing around 325 euros for Spain with shipping costs included. The RX 5700 XT has a value of 370 euros. Finally, the 50th Anniversary model costs 415 euros for Spain. All three comes with a free three-month subscription to XBOX Game Pass. We do not know if AMD will also start selling the rest of the Ryzen 3000 series processors. We will keep you informed.
