When TSMC named its 7nm EUV version N7 +, people assumed they were the same, and AMD wanted to clarify that Milan is in a 7nm version, and the exact version will be revealed at a later date. In the future the company will avoid using the '+' so that this does not happen again. Genoa, meanwhile, is manufactured at 5 nm.
