AMD Zen will allow 32 cores in a single socket
We now know that AMD Zen will allow you to create systems with up to 32 x86 processing cores in a single socket. Zen is based on quad-core blocks and each socket supports up to 8 of these blocks, totaling 32 cores in total. Unlike Bulldozer and its evolutions, Zen is based on full cores, so its design has been thought to strengthen the performance of each of its cores, which has been the main problem of AMD in recent years with a lot of cores. less powerful than those of its great rival Intel.
