Antec is launching a new mid-tower style gaming PC case. The box is the NX400, with a bit of RGB lighting, a tempered glass side panel, and what appears to be a fair amount of cooling potential.

This is the latest addition to Antec's growing family of NX PC cases, now spanning more than half a dozen models. On paper, the NX400 appears to have the potential to move a lot of airflow inside. Antec only includes a single 120mm RGB fan at the rear, but it can hold up to six.

Alternatively, users can install up to a 360mm radiator at the front or a 240mm radiator at the top, instead of adding more fans to those points.

Other relevant specifications include:

  • ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ITX motherboard support 7 expansion slots 2 3.5-inch / 1 2.5-inch bays (convertible) 4 2.5-inch bays Maximum GPU length is 330mm Maximum CPU height is 170mm Maximum length The power supply is 170mm

Two of the drive bays are located in the bottom chamber, and are the ones that can accommodate a 3.5 or 2.5-inch SSD hard drive (or one each). Three more 2.5-inch bays are scattered across the front, and there's a place to add one more behind the motherboard tray.

The front I / O consists of power and reset buttons, an LED button for changing the front panel RGB lighting effects, separate audio and microphone jacks, two USB 3.0 ports, and a USB 2.0 port.

The front has RGB lighting through a single LED strip, which is located next to some holes with specially added grilles to improve the cooling that comes from the front.

The NX400 will go on sale starting August 30 and is also quite affordable, priced at $ 64.99.
