The German brand Kolink, focused on offering low cost chassis and power supplies, has presented its new Horizon box, a model filled with tempered glass and RGB (the latest market trend) at a relatively low price.

Kolink Horizon, a striking mid-range box

This semi-tower is presented with a tinted tempered glass design on the front and side, and four pre-installed fans which have addressable RGB lighting, that is, there is not a single color in the entire strip but each diode it may have its only color. Thus, very interesting effects can be achieved thanks to the remote that is included with the box.

At the top of the box we find the I / O panel that has 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0, two audio jacks, the power button, the reset button and another to control the RGB.

Moving to its interior, its design has a fairing for the power supply and 3.5 ″ discs, which offers numerous advantages at the aesthetic level, the organization of the wiring (it can be hidden inside) and the sound. This is something found in any current chassis.

We have a space for plates up to ATX size, with a space for liquid cooling above that seems quite limited and that could interfere in certain combinations of plate and RL. In fact, the manufacturer does not indicate liquid cooling compatibility at the top so they would be relegated to the front (up to 360mm) or rear (120mm).

The restrictive air inlets on the front are of some concern, which could seriously affect the air flow and the effectiveness of the 3 front fans. At the back, yes, there seems to be a generous hole for organizing the wiring.

We end with compatibility and price of this box. The manufacturer indicates that 3 disks of 2.5 ″ and 2 disks of 3.5 ″ / 2.5 ″ can be installed , there is space for graphics cards up to 345mm long and air sinks up to 155mm high (the latter is quite limited!) .

The Kolink Horizon, which boasts of 'offering luxury features at a low price' is already available for 80 euros, a price that is not very high considering the 4 pre-installed fans and the slightly tinted black glass.
