After making Gamer Storm a separate branch, Deepcool seems to want to work hard to complete its GAMMAXX heatsink range. Previously reserved for air cooling solutions, this range opens up to water cooling with a first model derived directly from the Castle series, the DeepCool GAMMAXX L240.

DeepCool GAMMAXX L240, all features

Between the two models, the differences are minimal and mainly focus on appearance, with a logically more affordable GAMMAXX L240, and therefore more basic, non-addressable RGB lighting. We found the shape of the pump castle, albeit at a lower height, with an illuminated GAMMAXX logo at the base of the transparent upper part. The lighting is synchronized with that of the two fans, 120mm RF 120 and capable of rotating at a speed between 500 and 1800rpm, to generate an air flow of 69.34CFM and a pressure of 2.42mmHg. Its radiator is 27 mm thick and made of aluminum, with two tubes equipped with an anti-evaporation cover to connect it to the pump and the water block.

Deepcool also continues its policy of reducing the costs of RGB implementation, thus remote control is no longer available. The package only includes a splitter and different cables to connect directly, for example, to a motherboard compatible with 12V RGB heads with synchronization. Lighting can be managed with apps from leading motherboard manufacturers including ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome, Biostar VividLED DJ, etc.

Compatible CPU sockets include LGA2066, LGA115x, AM4, and AM3 +. It is already available and has a fairly adjusted price of $ 90, it shows that they have cut spending on accessories for RGB.
