In the DeepCool space we have seen the updates of the three liquid cooling lines and here we are going to show you what the DeepCool GAMMAXX V2 looks like. We are still at Computex in Taiwan and we are covering all the news from the world of technology.

DeepCool GAMMAXX V2, liquid cooling at a modest price

DeepCool GAMMAXX L120 and L240 V2

The Chinese brand presents us here the liquid refrigerations of its standard line, the DeepCool GAMMAXX V2 . Both will cost approximately € 60 or € 70 , making them more accessible to the general public. Its upgraded versions, the GAMMAXX L120 V3 and LV240 V3, will be out in August this year for a slightly higher price.

The clearest difference between the two systems is the number of fans, since the L120 has only one, while its older brother has a pair. All fans are 120mm, so they will fit in almost any build.

Both in the fans and the pump we have RGB lighting that, in addition, is compatible with the msi , AORUS and other software. Although if the RGB light does not please you, you can choose to turn it off completely as in the photo above. On the other hand, as in the GamerStorm CASTLE line, here we have the lighting control as a novelty.

Anti-Leak Technology has been added to this liquid cooling system and some parts have been restructured to make them more resistant and durable. Like CASTLEs , their water micro- channels are 'E' shaped and have a large, pure copper plate to dissipate the IHS from the processor.

We have to highlight that it has compatibility for many popular processors, but we lose that of some like the ThreadRipper (TR4). Intel's 14nm has its benefits too, as most of its famous processors share a socket.

Final thoughts on GAMMAXX V2

In general, we would not recommend buying a low-budget liquid cooling, as temperatures can be mediocre and, in the end, need to buy a better device.

While devices that are around € 100 are usually components and work decently, when we lower the price bar the quality usually goes down with it. However, the vast experience of the Chinese brand seems to compensate for this and we can see it in the results obtained by its previous versions.

The original GAMMAXX L240 was a cooling system that we liked, so we believe that this new iteration, a priori, can only improve. But we reiterate our usual advice:

Until you have real benchmarks made by users or information portals, do not blindly trust a product. All brands can go wrong and make a poor choice in the build, assemble or who knows process.

How much do you think liquid cooling like this should cost? Would you build your own custom refrigeration? Tell us your thoughts down there.
