Asus Prime X299-Deluxe II is a new motherboards for the LGA 2011 platform from intel that differs from its predecessor mainly by the largest heat sink in the power section, and the lack of compatibility with the already abandoned Kaby Lake series- X.

Asus Prime X299-Deluxe II is an ATX- format motherboard, equipped with an LGA2066 socket, on which you can mount Core X processors, including the upcoming models of the ninth generation. The motherboard has three PCIe x16 connectors and two PCIe x1 connectors, making it possible to easily build CrossFireX and SLI configurations. The board has also been equipped with three M.2 Key M sockets, all of which can operate in PCIe x4 mode, and eight 6 Gbps SATA ports. Asus decided to use two traditional Intel I219V Gigabit network systems , the Aquantia AQC111C 5 Gb wireless module, and Intel Wireless-AC 9260 with WIFI 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0. The Realtek ALC S1220A audio codec includes a built-in headphone amplifier and relies on a separate section of the PCB to prevent interference. There are also Power, Reset, Clear CMOS, MemOK! II, a BIOS flash button from the USB memory and the OLED diagnostic screen.
Two Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) ports, two DisplayPort outputs (for daisy chain configuration), two RJ-45s, four USB 3.1 Gen1 jacks, two USB 2.0 ports, optical output, antenna connectors, and a standard set of audio jacks. The price of the Asus Prime X299-Deluxe II has not been disclosed, but it can be assumed that it will be slightly higher than the previous Prime X299-Deluxe model.
