EVGA HYBRID has been announced as the new dissipation system proposed by the Californian company for users of its latest graphics cards based on Nvidia technology, the GeForce RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 XC / XC2, which make use of the Turing architecture.

EVGA HYBRID, a water sink for the GeForce RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 XC / XC2

The manufacturer that has been creating custom solutions to cool your high-end cards for a while now offers a stand-alone hybrid kit consisting of an AiO liquid and a classic full-fan, single-cap heat sink. EVGA HYBRID uses a 120mm radiator with a copper base to cool the GPU, while the GDDR6 and VRM memory chips are dissipated by an aluminum radiator with a fan on the back of the PCB.

As of yet, EVGA has provided no data on the kit's performance, but it's easy to see that this solution is much more efficient than single-fan air-cooled heat sinks. On the manufacturer's website we also read that EVGA HYBRID is not compatible with EVGA FTW models and unfortunately not even with the RTX 2070 Founders Edition.

The heatsink is compatible with EVGA Precision Management Software, a tool that allows you to manage the AIO and the fan included in the kit. EVGA HYBRID is available on the manufacturer's official website for an official price of $ 169.99, a good option for users who want to venture into liquid cooling on their graphics cards, and who do not have a custom liquid cooling circuit.

What do you think of this new EVGA HYBRID heatsink? Do you think it is worth the economic investment?
