Aoc presents its first gaming keyboards and mice
Table of contents:
During a City of London event, AOC takes an important step by introducing its first peripherals - in this case, two mice and two keyboards - that appear to be focused on gamers.
AOC Introduces GK500, AGON AGK700 Keyboards, and GM500 and AGON AGM700 Mice
The first peripheral of those presented is the GK500 keyboard. It is expected to sell for 69.90 euros and is a mechanical keyboard that comes with Outemu switches. It features a removable plastic palm rest and RGB light keys. Keyboard enthusiasts will have heard of Outemu. In short, these are Cherry MX 'clone' keys at a lower price, which is probably part of the reason why AOC can offer this keyboard for 70 euros.
The AGON AGK700 is definitely a step up from the GK500. This is a more expensive keyboard, which is expected to sell for 149.90 euros. In this case, it includes Cherry MX keys, as well as dedicated macro buttons on the left side. Also, it appears to be made entirely of metal. This keyboard has a multi-function dial where you can control things like system volume or LED brightness.
As for the mice, we have the GM500 from AOC. This is a relatively simple-looking mouse that uses PixArt's PMW 3325 sensor, so it's certainly not a high-end model. This is reflected in its extremely low price of 27.90 euros. It has Omron buttons, a 1.8m braided cable and a single DPI button on the go. Its price is between 120-130g.
Finally, we have the AGON AGM700 model. This is a high-end mouse that costs just under 50 euros. It has the high-end PMW 3389 sensor and also has a 5x 5g weight adjustment system to increase the total weight, depending on user preferences. The AGM700 uses Omron buttons. The main buttons also have a brushed metal look that certainly adds a unique design aesthetic, while the mouse has a built-in memory of up to three profiles.
