Within hours of the unveiling of the Ryzen 3000 series, unofficial name, we have a leaked benchmark of an alleged 6-core Ryzen under Geekbench 4.

A Ryzen 3000 6-core appears in Geekbench, it would be the hypothetical Ryzen 3 3300

In these hours a peculiar entry in Geekbench was detected. The input carries the same chain that we have seen on all other previous 'Zen 2' Ryzen 3000 series chips that have been leaked. This particular chip is a 6-core, 12-wire piece, and is most likely one of AMD's entry-level Ryzen 3000 range proposals.

We already had the leak of a 16 core and 12 core Ryzen 3000 chip, now we have the leak of a 6 core and 12 wire chip. This specific chip has a base clock speed of 3.2 GHz and a Turbo of 4.0 GHz.

These are exactly the same specifications of the leaked Ryzen 3 3300 CPU a while back. That based on everything we have heard so far, it will be the cheapest variant of the series.

In the following table we see the rumored chips of the new series based on Zen 2, where the Ryzen 3 3300 will be the most modest offer. We can also note that AMD used minimum 6-core chips up for the desktop market.

3000 series (unofficial) table

CPU CORES / THREADS Base CLOCK TURBO TDP PRICE Debut
Ryzen 3 3300 6/12 3.2GHz 4.0GHz 50W $ 99 ESC
Ryzen 3 3300X 6/12 3.5GHz 4.3GHz 65W $ 129 ESC
Ryzen 3 3300G 6/12 3.0GHz 3.8GHz 65W $ 129 Q3 2019

Ryzen 5 3600G 8/16 3.2GHz 4.0GHz 95W $ 199 Q3 2019
Ryzen 7 3700 12/24 3.8GHz 4.6GHz 95W $ 299 ESC
Ryzen 7 3700X 12/24 4.2GHz 5.0GHz 105W $ 329 ESC
Ryzen 9 3800X 16/32 TBA TBA 125W $ 449 ESC
Ryzen 9 3850X 16/32 TBA TBA 135W $ 499 TBA

Performance compared to Ryzen 7 2700X and Ryzen 5 2600X

The most interesting thing about this chip would be its performance. The Ryzen 3 3300 achieved a single core score of 5061 and a multi-core score of 25481. In contrast, a Ryzen 7 2700X scores 4923 and 25209 points respectively. This means that the 3300 with two fewer cores and significantly lower base clock and turbo speeds has managed to outperform AMD's current 8-core flagship AMD.

There is little left to check if all this is true, but it looks very good.
