Three new amd ryzen mobile apus appear

At the end of October AMD announced its new series of mobile processors within the Ryzen mobile family, these are the Raven Ridge silicon-based models that combine the power of the Ryzen and Vega architectures to create an attractive offer both in regards the mobile CPU as well as the performance of the integrated graphics.

New leaks have revealed that more Ryzen APUs are on the way, with a new Ryzen 3 Mobile U-Series variant and a never-before-seen G series of Ryzen mobile products. Ryzen's G-series will offer higher levels of power consumption than its U-series, meaning these new APUs are likely to provide a significant performance advantage over their low-power U-series counterparts.

The Ryzen 5 2400G will come with four CPU cores and eight threads along with a Vega 11 GPU offering 702 shaders. AMD will also offer a more affordable Ryzen 3 2200G APU that will have four cores and four threads with Vega 8 graphics, giving the GPU a total of 512 shaders.

Unfortunately, the clock speeds are unknown at this time, although it is known that they will be available in 65W and 35W versions. These new Ryzen Mobile processors are expected to be released in the first quarter of 2018.

Let's not forget that the new Ryzen 2000 desktop processors will also arrive in early 2018 under a 12nm GF manufacturing process, they are expected to include noticeable performance improvements without an increase in power consumption. These new processors will be based on Pinnacle Ridge silicon.
