At this year's Computex we have seen three Silverstone boxes which contribute their bit to this year's great offer. They all have an attractive and very differential design!

Silverstone boxes, three sizes and three designs

Although the market tends to be devoted quite fiercely to the gaming user, Silverstone seems to want to set the trend with its own designs. The pieces that we have been seeing throughout the event used to be black, with large windows and with the characteristic RGB .

Silverstone boxes, on the other hand, are committed to more personalized designs.

  • The large one has a silver body and large windows in dark colors. The medium has a polished metallic silver finish and a slightly more translucent dark glass. Finally, the little one has black colors with a dark glass, although it is more reminiscent of an office equipment than a gaming one.

If you want to know other models of cases you can see in our guide of PC cases

Silverstone RL08

Silverstone RL08 box

Starting with the trio's little brother, the Silverstone RL08. This box is a small piece, so it is obviously intended only for mini-ATX motherboards.

The skeleton of the box is made of steel and glass, showing a very beautiful side that gives us a feeling of sobriety and seriousness.

At the top it has a dust filter , while at the front it has a metal grill to hide the fans. It also features controls and shallow system ports like the power button, two mini-jack for headphones and microphone, and 2 USB ports .

Silverstone RL08 interior

Here we see a sample team assembled by Silverstone itself where they limit the capabilities of the box. As we can see, it is divided into two simple compartments and, distributed throughout the body, the team mounts 4 140mm and one 120mm fans.

Silverstone SETA A1

Silverstone SETA A1 box

Silverstone SETA A1 boxes will be standard size (ATX) and will have this peculiar extremely minimalist design. The body is entirely made of a highly polished silver metal (between steel and aluminum) and lacks any type of pattern or serography.

We will be able to enjoy the RGB lighting on the front (hidden under a metal layer) while we will be able to see the internal components through the tempered glass. The equipment will hold up to 2 fans of 200mm, 2 of 140mm and 1 of 120mm.

This box is a very good choice for those who love elegant and stylish designs. It is a very beautiful box and stands out for how rare it is.

Silverstone ALTA S1

At the highest echelon we have Silverstone ALTA S1 boxes, true mastodons for E-ATX boards .

Silverstone ALTA S1 case

With a silver metal exterior and dark glass, this kit can't go unnoticed wherever you go . Its internal space is approximately 125 liters that you can not understand if it is a lot or a little, so to put it in perspective, the SETA A1 contains 39 liters inside.

We will have a huge sandbox where we can place a huge amount of components without fear of running out of space. In addition, access to the interior compartment is super easy since the glass has hinges. On the other hand, in standard lines, the equipment will support 3 fans of 200mm and 1 of 120mm.

Interior with components of the Silverstone ALTA S1

As you can see, not even a top team with an SLI is able to cover all the space that the team offers us. Of course, we must highlight that we lose a piece of space because of the ornament glass with the ALTA S1 logo .

On the front we will have the common controls such as the power button, several USB, a pair of USB-C and the sound mini-jack.

What to think about Silverstone boxes?

The first impression we get from all three is their distinctive design. By taking other pathways separate from pure white or dark metals, these boxes resonate between the heads.

Similar to the CoolerMaster COSMOS , we find them to be very well equipped and, above all, very striking boxes . Following the order of sizes, the boxes will take increasingly higher prices, so you have a choice for each price range.

And what do you think of Silverstone boxes? Which do you think will have a better quality / price ratio?
