Apple will not suffer a blockade in China in the immediate future
Table of contents:
Huawei's blockade in America, which prevents the company from using American components and services, has not yet received a response from China. Although a couple of weeks ago there is speculation that the country's government could make the decision to block Apple. A decision that could cause many problems for the Cupertino firm. It doesn't seem to come though.
Apple will not suffer a blockade in China soon
Although it is said that the government of the Asian country has created a list of companies that will not be able to trade, negotiate or obtain products from China.
Blockade in China
This list of companies will include many of the firms that have now refused or stopped working with Huawei, such as Qualcomm, Intel or ARM. This decision by China could be problematic for many of these firms, which in many cases produce or obtain components from the Asian country. But Apple is not one of the companies that are on this list, at least for now.
The reason Apple won't be blocked is because it doesn't do business with Huawei, and its phones are produced in China, so Chinese plants and workers are used. Blocking the company would be something that would harm the country's own economy.
So it seems that the Cupertino firm is going to get rid of a blockade in the country. A decision that surely relieves them, since China is one of their main markets. So not being able to sell in the country would cause your sales to plummet. And it must be remembered that they have been falling in sales for a couple of years.
