Apple Pay Cash, the direct payment system between people created by the company of the same name, has once again been promoted through the launch of a series of short videos that show users how to request, send and spend money from simple and fast way.

Apple Pay Cash, immediate money between contacts

Yesterday, Apple uploaded several new videos to its YouTube channel whose main theme is its Apple Pay Cash inter-person payment service. Each of these videos is focused on a different function or feature of the service available on iOS, with the main purpose of promoting the system while showing how easy it is to operate.

Requesting money from a contact through the Messages app, sending and receiving it, and then spending that money using the virtual Apple Pay Cash card available in the iPhone Wallet app to make purchases in any store, are the backbone of these new Videos designed in the style of small tutorials, very much in line with the latest videos showing certain functions of the iPad Pro.

It is not the first time that Apple has promoted Apple Pay Cash, which was first introduced in iOS 11.2. The function allows users who own an iPhone or iPad to send money between contacts in a similar way to how we do it through PayPal, using the Messaging application.

The money received can be used to make purchases using the eponymous card available in Wallet, but it can also be deposited in a previously associated bank account.

Since its launch, Apple Pay Cash is still limited to the United States however, it has started to appear for some users in Canada, Australia and even users in certain European countries such as England or Germany, suggesting that Apple is working on expanding this service globally.
