Apu ryzen 4000 will have 100mhz automatic overclocking

AMD has recently launched new APU Ryzen 4000 processors based on the 'Zen 2' architecture, where they have achieved laptop processors with up to 8 16-core threads, and a power consumption that varies between 15W and 45W.

Thanks to the support of the new process architecture, the Ryzen 4000 series is not just a large number of cores, the frequency is not bad, like the Ryzen 7 4800U and Ryzen 7 4800H that can reach 4.2GHz, and the potential is more than that.

With the arrival of the Ryzen 4000 laptop on the market, testing is in full swing, and we've been able to learn more about it through some of the test data that can be seen on 3DMark and GeekBench.

From the current limit, the Ryzen 4000 APU appears to have automatic technology similar to the PBO overclocking of the desktop version Ryzen 3000, which can get an additional frequency of 100MHz based on official specs.

Currently, the Ryzen 7 4800H has been seen operating at 4.3GHz, while its older brother the 4700U also operates at 4.2GHz.

Interestingly, AMD did not mention this extra acceleration technology in its official presentation. The increase in their frequencies could give the APU Ryzen 4000 series a little more performance.

What Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) technology does is improve the frequencies of each core based on the voltage and temperature of the CPU, and is activated only in tasks that demand a lot of processing.

It is possible that AMD is announcing this new feature as we get closer to the launch of the first laptops that use the Ryzen 4000 series. We will keep you informed.
