Artic has announced the availability of its new Artic Alpine AM4 Passive and Alpine 12 Passive passive coolers, both designed for users looking to keep their processor at a good operating temperature without the hassle of fan noise.

Artic Alpine AM4 Passive and Alpine 12 Passive are compatible with AMD AM4 and Intel LGA 115X processors respectively. Both have been designed with all the experience accumulated by Artic in his many years of activity within the heatsink market. Artic Alpine AM4 Passive and Alpine 12 Passive offer completely silent operation and are capable of handling a heat load of up to 47W.

Its construction with black anodized aluminum is not only an improvement in aesthetics, as it improves heat dissipation through anodic oxidation. Since dust cannot settle on Alpine AM4 and Alpine 12 heatsinks, they can be used for years without maintenance. Both come with a thin film of pre-applied MX-2 thermal compound, ensuring a quick and clean installation process.

Its design has focused on offering the maximum possible heat exchange surface, for which it has chosen to include large aluminum fins.
