Asrock shows off its am4 motherboard

ASRock has been through CES 2017 in Las Vegas to show its first AM4 socket motherboards for the new AMD Ryzen processors and Bristol Ridge APUs.

ASRock X370 Taichi is the new top of the range

First of all we have the ASRock X370 Taichi which is the top of the range model with a powerful 16-phase VRM that takes power from a 24-pin ATX connector and an 8-pin EPS connector. This powerful VRM includes Super Alloy components and confirms that Ryzen is stomping on the overclocking section. Features continue with four DDR4 DIMM slots, two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and a third PCI-Express 3.0 x4 electrically. We continue with two USB 3.1 ports (type-A and type-C), ten USB 3.0, eight-channel PureSound 4 audio, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11ac WLAN, one M.2 32 Gb / s slot, one M.2 slot 16 Gb / s and eight SATA 6 Gb / s.
