Asrock shows off its am4 motherboard

ASRock has been through CES 2017 in Las Vegas to show its first AM4 socket motherboards for the new AMD Ryzen processors and Bristol Ridge APUs.

ASRock X370 Taichi is the new top of the range

First of all we have the ASRock X370 Taichi which is the top of the range model with a powerful 16-phase VRM that takes power from a 24-pin ATX connector and an 8-pin EPS connector. This powerful VRM includes Super Alloy components and confirms that Ryzen is stomping on the overclocking section. Features continue with four DDR4 DIMM slots, two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and a third PCI-Express 3.0 x4 electrically. We continue with two USB 3.1 ports (type-A and type-C), ten USB 3.0, eight-channel PureSound 4 audio, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11ac WLAN, one M.2 32 Gb / s slot, one M.2 slot 16 Gb / s and eight SATA 6 Gb / s. The X370 Professional Gaming has the same features except for a different colored PCB.

ASRock AB350 Pro4 and ASRock AB350 Gaming K4

Next we have the ASRock AB350 Pro4 which is based on the B350 chipset, a 9 phase VRM, four DDR4 DIMM slots, one PCI-Espress 3.0 x16 slot, one PCI-Espress 3.0 x4 slot, 6 channel audio, gigabit Ethernet, eight USB 3.0 ports, one M.2 32 Gb / s slot, one M.2 16 Gb / s, six SATA III 6 GB / s. We also have the ASRock AB350 Gaming K4 with the same features except a different colored PCB.

A320M Pro4 and AB350M Pro4

Finally we find the ASRock A320M Pro4 and AB350M Pro4 based on the same PCB design except for the use of different A320 and B350 chipsets. They come in a Micro-ATX format with a 9-phase VRM, a PCI-Express 3.0 x16, a PCI-Express 3.0 x4, an M.2 32 Gb / s slot, an M.2 16 Gb / s, four SATA ports III 6 Gb / s, 7 USB 3.0 ports including one Type-C, gigabit Ethernet and 6-channel audio.
