Colorful shows off its top-of-the-range z170 ymir motherboard
Colorful has shown its top-of-the-range motherboard with LGA 1151 socket and Z170 chipset to receive Intel's Skylake processors, it is the Colorful Z170 Ymir-G with excellent specifications.
The Colorful Z170 Ymir-G powers its LGA 1151 socket using a powerful 18-phase power VRM, which VRM is cooled with a heatsink prepared to be connected to a liquid cooling circuit. Surrounding the socket we see four DDR4 DIMM slots that support a maximum of 64 GB of DDR4-3, 400 MHz memory.
Its specifications are completed with three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, three PCI-Express 3.0 x1, two SATA-Express 16 Gb / s, one M.2 (32 Gb / s), two USB 3.1, six USB 3.0, two ports Gigabit Ethernet and HD audio with 8 high-quality channels.
