ASRock has announced the launch of two new ASRock J4105-ITX and J4105B-ITX motherboards with a Mini ITX format, and which are characterized by making use of Intel's Gemini Lake processors, which promise excellent energy efficiency.

The new ASRock J4105-ITX and J4105B-ITX motherboards feature an advanced Celeron J4105 processor that is built under Intel's Gemini Lake architecture. This chip has a total of four cores manufactured at 14 nm and operating at a clock speed of 2.5 GHz along with Intel UHD 600 graphics. It is a very efficient processor with a TDP of only 10W that includes large hardware decoding capabilities as it includes 10 bpc HEVC acceleration. Thanks to this, users of this platform will be able to easily view 4K content on video on demand services such as Netflix. The low power consumption of this processor means that you only need a passive heatsink.

Gigabyte Launches Gemini Lake Motherboards with Pentium and Celeron CPUs

These two motherboards include two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots compatible with a maximum of 8 GB of memory in a dual-channel configuration and at a speed of 2400 MHz, more than enough for the uses that will be given to this platform.
