MSI wants to bet heavily on the new AM4 platform and knows that the bulk of sales are in the mid-range, so it wants to convince users with a new generation of motherboards capable of bringing all the benefits of new Ryzen processors, while maintaining low prices. For this purpose, the new MSI B350 Tomahawk Arctic and B350M Mortar Arctic plates have been born.

Both solutions make use of a mid-range chipset, the B350, which is capable of taking full advantage of Ryzen chips and whose only major limitation is that they do not allow SLI configurations, although we can mount a CrossFire system. These new motherboards are very similar to the original B350 Tomahawk and B350M Mortar except for the use of a white PCB and some more details among which we find the VRM heatsinks and the RAM memory banks also in white.

The MSI B350 Tomahawk Arctic and B350M Mortar Arctic include an attractive , highly configurable white LED lighting system through the use of the MSI Mystic Light application, with which you can adjust the different light effects and their speed, among others, to give your desktop a spectacular touch. They are expected to come soon with prices 15-20 euros higher than those of the original B350 Tomahawk and B350M Mortar models.
