The new ASRock motherboards with B450 chipset will offer users a cheaper alternative than current models with X470 chipset. The company is currently working on four models: B450 Fatal1ty Gaming K4, B450 Fatal1ty Gaming-ITX / ac, B450M Pro4 and B450 Pro4. As you can see, at least one Mini ITX model and one Micro ATX model are included, along with two ATX models, which will offer wide possibilities.

These new B450 motherboards will allow you to take advantage of all the benefits of the second generation Ryzen, including technologies such as XFR 2, Precision Boost 2 and AMD StoreMI, which are not available on the first generation AM4 motherboards, or are more limited.. Beyond that, there will be no major improvements, so if you already have an X370 or B350 motherboard, you should not be compensated for taking the leap, as the improvement will be very small for the money it involves.

For now it is not known when ASRock could launch the new B450 motherboards, it is likely that we will see new information on the occasion of the celebration of Computex 2018 that begins at the end of this month of May in Taipei.
