SPLAVE is proving that ASRock TRX40 Taichi motherboards can offer world-class overclocking.

ASRock TRX40 Taichi and Threadripper 3990X break several world performance records

ASRock has partnered with the SPLAVE professional overclocker to dominate the HWBOT overclocking charts, breaking a total of five world records using AMD's Ryzen Threadripper 3990X and ASRock's TRX40 Taichi motherboard.

The overclocking registers include the Ryzen Threadripper 3990X's clock speed register, which has been raised to a staggering 5, 748GHz, although this frequency was obtained in a single core.

ASRock and SPLAVE are proving that AMD's decision to launch their Threadripper 3990X was the right move, as it is rapidly garnering headlines and has been shown to be AMD's top product to demonstrate all of its current power.

Below is a list of the overclocking records SPLAVE has broken with AMD's Ryzen Threadripper 3990X.

  • Clock speed 3990X - 5748.7MHz WPRIME score 1024M - 11 sec 541ms GPUPI for CPU - 21 sec 622ms Cinebench R20 score - 39518 points GEEKBENCH 3 - 293771 points X265 Benchmark - 384.389 FPS

The Ryzen Threadripper 3990X is a 64-core, 128-thread processor that was released earlier this February, being the flagship of the Threadripper series. The ASRock TRX40 Taichi motherboard, meanwhile, offers some 16 power phases and all the 'Premium' features we would expect from a HEDT motherboard. NVLink, SLI, CrossFire X, USB-C, 3 PCIe 4.0 support, built-in Wi-Fi, and DDR4 4666+ support.

With these records, the ASRock motherboard shows that it is the best option to combine it with the Threadripper 3990X. We will keep you informed.
