Asus announces the new rog strix x370 motherboard

Asus ROG Strix X370-F Gaming has been announced today as a new top-of-the-range motherboard for the AMD AM4 platform and Ryzen processors. This board sits just below the impressive ROG Crosshair VI Hero but above all other AM4 socket-based solutions.

The Asus ROG Strix X370-F Gaming is based on the X370 chipset and includes a complete RGB LED lighting system on the VRM and chipset heatsinks to provide incredible aesthetics. The lighting is accompanied by diffusers to enhance the effects and is fully manageable using the Asus Aura Sync RGB software.

Now getting to the bottom line, the board is powered by a 24-pin ATX connector and an 8-pin EPS connector that provide you with the power to seamlessly operate your robust 10-phase VRM power with Super Alloy Power technology 2. The socket is surrounded by four DDR4 DIMM slots with support for up to 64GB of dual-channel memory to take full advantage of the advanced Ryzen processors.

As for the possibilities for video games, it has two reinforced PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots to easily withstand the weight of the heaviest graphics cards on the market.
