Asus has taken advantage of its time at Computex to show four new peripherals for gamers, these are the TUF Gaming M5 mouse, the K5 keyboard, the H5 headphones and the GT501 chassis.

Asus expands its TUF Gaming product portfolio for gamers

The TUF M5 mouse uses Omron switches with a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes below the main buttons. Inside it is a Pixart PAW3327 optical sensor with a sensitivity of up to 6200 DPI, a low value for what we are used to seeing, but Asus says it is enough for the vast majority of gamers. All buttons are programmable with functions or macros through Armory II software.

The TUF Gaming K5 keyboard is based on a splash-proof design, which is capable of supporting up to 60ml of liquid under the mecha-membrane switches, which use a tuned membrane to try to mimic the feel of a mechanical keyboard, Asus claims the feedback is similar to tactile mechanical switches, but with the soft landing of a rubber dome. The keyboard has a customizable five-zone backlight using Asus Aura Sync. It also includes dedicated controls for dedicated volume and multimedia keys.

The TUF Gaming H5 headphones have been designed to offer the best durability and comfort. Inside are the 50mm Essence speakers with a design optimized to offer the best sound in games. The headset connects to the system via 3.5mm audio jacks and includes a USB adapter to add virtual surround sound.

Finally, we have the new TUF gaming GT501 chassis, made with a steel and plastic infrastructure, with a tempered glass side panel to show the components. Asus includes three PWM controlled 140mm fans, with additional supports for three fans on top and three on the front, both locations supporting 280mm and 360mm radiators.

All of them will go on sale throughout the third quarter of 2018, prices have not been announced.
