The Taiwanese manufacturer surprises with the presentation of its new series of TUF Gaming graphics cards, generally associated for those budget-oriented motherboards. Now, the TUF series will also house different graphics cards and the RTX 2060 TUF Gaming will be the first of them.

ASUS released two models of the RTX 2060 TUF Gaming

ASUS released two models of the RTX 2060 TUF Gaming, both slightly overclocked if used with the bundled software in OC mode and with a 6GB amount of memory. The variant that is not 'OC' comes with a speed of 1710 MHz, while the OC model has 1740 MHz (a priceless difference).

The TUF series of GPUs were designed with "durability, compatibility and performance" in mind. The fans use dual bearings and are IP5X dust resistant.

Like the TUF series of motherboards, the series corresponding to graphics cards are also tested for 144 hours (ASUS Validation Program) to ensure maximum reliability.

RTX 2060 TUF Gaming has a compact design with two fans for cooling

RTX 2060 TUFs are clearly budget cards, so we shouldn't expect anything to do with RGB lighting or OLED displays like other models. These cards are meant to last and be 'cheap', so far as it goes, and it can be said that at first glance it looks quite robust with a compact design.

It is worth adding that the TUF RTX series offers the DualLink DVI-D connector, this is a feature that is unfortunately omitted on most custom graphics cards from many manufacturers. Compared to the other ports, it includes two DisplayPort ports and an HDMI port.

At the moment we do not know its price or availability date, but it should not take long.
