Chromebooks are small, low-cost laptops that work with Google's Chrome OS, they are computers with very modest specifications but are sufficient for everyday tasks. From today we know a new addition to the chromebook family with the Asus C300SA.

New Asus C300SA chromebook for basic tasks

The Asus C300SA is a new chromebook with a screen with an unknown size and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, brought to life by a simple but highly efficient Intel Celeron N3060 processor based on the Braswell architecture and consisting of two cores at a maximum frequency of 2.48. GHz is not the most powerful chip, far from it, but if you use your computer to browse, watch videos and send emails, you don't need anything else.

Next to the processor we find 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage that we can expand thanks to its microSD memory card slot so you do not lack space for your files. Its specifications are completed with WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, a 48 Wh battery, USB 3.0 and HDMI.

Its price has not been announced but it should be quite low considering its specifications.
