New gigabyte brix with intel braswell

Gigabyte has announced a new mini PC from its BRIX series with an Intel Celeron N3000 processor belonging to the Braswell family with Airmont architecture at 14nm for excellent energy efficiency.

The Intel Celeron N3000 consists of two Airmont cores at a base frequency of 1.04 GHz that goes up to 2.08 GHz in turbo mode to offer more than enough performance for the most basic tasks with negligible power consumption. Its specifications are completed by an Intel HD GPU with 12 EUs and a DDR3L-1600 dual chanel memory controller.

This new Gigabyte BRIX has dimensions of 56.1 mm x 107.6 mm x 114.4 mm and comes without RAM or storage unit so the user must add them. It supports a DDR3 RAM module with a maximum capacity of 8 GB, so you cannot do a dual chanel configuration, in terms of storage, it has an M.2 slot and a SATA III 6 Gb / s port.

Its features are completed with a microSD slot, Intel Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, VGA and HDMI video outputs, 2-channel HD audio and four USB 3.0 ports. Not mentioned but should include WiFi.
