The Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 and 750 Ti graphics cards based on the GM207 silicon have good performance and very low power consumption, so it is not surprising that fanless solutions for such cards appear as the new Asus GeForce GTX 750 Silent.
The new Asus GeForce GTX 750 Silent graphics card is based on the cropped version of Nvidia's GM207 GPU, offering a total of 512 CUDA Cores at a base frequency of 1020 MHz that goes up to 1085 MHz under turbo. Accompanying the GPU we find 2 GB of GDDR5 VRAM memory at a frequency of 5010 MHz and a 128-bit bus.
To keep the core and other components of the card cool, Asus has decided to use a large passive heatsink from the DirectCU range with a dual slot design and two copper heatpipes.
It is a card that does not require power connectors, making it ideal for use in small equipment such as HTPCs, although the bulky heatsink can cause space problems in some boxes.
